The Assembly was held at Ghana Civil Aviation Authority Training Academy, Accra, Ghana, from 29 to 30 October 2019.

the meeting was conducted in English with translation in French.
SECRETARIAT:

During this session, five presentations were delivered by the following presenters and panelists. Tendani Ndou – ATNS, Joel Kamate – EAMAC, Arstid Kanje – Tanzania CATC, Seyi Adewale – Mainland Cargo Ltd, Fateh Bekhti – IFATCA, Marily Heyster - AviAssit Foundation, Cletus Umeh – Nigeria CAA, and Noutchemo Fadimatou – YAAPA. The moderator was Mr Nick Fadugba.
AATO Resolutions:
The 3rd AATO General Assembly held in Accra- Ghana from 29th to 30th October, 2019 passed the following resolutions:
RES01/2019: The Assembly commends AATO for development of the African Aviation Training Roadmap. The proposed related projects and programs need to be prioritized to facilitate effective implementation.
RES02/2019: AATO to create training partnership programs to enable funding of the organization.
RES03/2019: AATO to coordinate with AFCAC and ensure participation in the HRDF management and that the identified training needs are fully addressed.
RES04/2019: AATO and ICAO GAT to meet and come up with a collaboration mechanism on the Roadmap implementation.
RES05/2016: ICAO GAT to conduct workshops across the continent to sensitize on the Roadmap implementation.
RES06/2019: AATO and African Regional Safety and Security Oversight Organizations (RSOOs) to work together and come up with harmonized curricula.
RES07/2019: African Aviation Services, AfBAA, JPO, AviAssist, IFATCA, IFATSEA and other stakeholders commit themselves to support AATO in African Training initiatives.
RES08/2019: The Assembly fully commits itself to fully participate in the future Roadmap improvement programs
RES09/2019: ATOs are encouraged to enhance collaboration and address all commercial, business, and general aviation training needs.
RES10/2019: AATO to consult AFCAC to issue state letters in accordance with 40th ICAO General Resolution.
Elections:
According to Article 3.1 of the constitution, participation in the elections is by full ATO members who are eligible to voting. Full membership is subject to payment of the membership fees.
Elections were held under the supervision of AFCAC and ICAO GAT as an
observer. The results declared as follows;
